Sporotrichosis is a chronic disease with slow progression and often subtle symptoms. I’ve been occasionally scratched by cats before, but never by this particular cat. Vestibular – The vestibular system located deep within the inner ear as well as nerves which travel to the brain. Atopic cats can present with symptoms at any age, but the majority seen in our practice seem to be less than 1 year old. A few weeks after the scratch or bite, a swollen gland, called a swollen lymph node, may develop in your child’s elbow, armpit, groin or neck area, near the location of the injury. Some of these diseases can be severe. A split tooth can never be saved intact. It usually begins with a blister, sometimes multiple ones, around the anus, male organ or vaginal area, and mouth.
