eBay has finally included Portugal in their international markets division!

Thousands of Portuguese eBayers were using international sites to buy and sell their items, and many times getting stuck with sellers that wouldn’t ship the items to Portugal, because of security and fraud issues.

Since life is not just tech and computers this brief post is about another form of culture.

We’re grieving the death of the Portuguese writer, nobel prize winner, José Saramago.

Saramago wich was granted the Nobel Prize for Literature, back in 1988, died this morning, aged 87yo, in his house in the Canary Islands (Spain) victim of cancer.

He was the only writer in the Portuguese language to achieve the Nobel prize.

Hardly a week after iPad’s Worldwide launch, the Portuguese leading real estate portal – casa.sapo.pt – has just released a new applet that offers iPad users a dedicated tool to search properties on the new platform.

The applet will allow future iPad users to access, browse and search properties on the real estate portal in a totally new perspective due to the touch-screen technology available.

The touch-screen technology integrated with the new applet offers a deep, highly interactive, use of the most advanced functionalities such as property details, contact realtor, and a completely new map-controlled search engine.
