from google mobile forums
Although not all of you have Android 2.3.3 yet, we’re happy to announce Android 2.3.4. This new version introduces an exciting new feature, and also addresses some bugs. We’ve already started sending Android 2.3.4 to Nexus S and Nexus One phones around the world, so if you’ve got one of those phones you should receive an automatic over-the-air update within a few weeks.
If you haven’t received 2.3.3 yet, 2.3.4 will introduce you to several new features such as Google Maps 5.1 with 3D, Voice Search 2.1.1 with Voice Actions and personalized voice search, and the latest version of Google Books.
WordPress: Transfer your WP blog from .com to .org like a professional Published on March 11, 2011
Guided Transfer Upgrade
According to Automattic’s founder Matt Mullenweg, “If you’re on WordPress you’re part of the family, it shouldn’t matter if we host you or not.”
With Jetpack, a new plugin from Automattic, people not on WordPress.com can now access features that depend on WordPress.com. Jetpack also provides convenience features that don’t use the cloud, but are now easier to install, or were unavailable as plugins before.
wordpress.com has launched a new upgrade called Guided Transfer where for a $99 one-time fee they’ll handle every detail and tech thingamajig involved in moving your content, theme, domain, and more to any one of the recommended hosts they’ve vetted. (And of course your new site will be Jetpack-powered.)
Quoting “Hew” from wordpress.com: “- Of course we love having you here with us at WordPress.com, but we understand that there are situations where a self-hosted WordPress.org site may be a better choice”
WordPress does rock!

NoMoreIE6 Word Press Plugin is out! Published on January 19, 2010
An updated version of the NoMoreIE6 Word Press Plugin is out!
You can get it here: www.wdmac.com/wp-plugins/nomoreie6
This plugin displays a warning message on the top of your website, to all IE6 users, and only to them, warning about security issues concerning their browser, and about the limitations on their browsing-user-experience.
This updated version allows users to choose and download free from a set of top browsers.
Browser security is a very pertinent matter, emphasized by the recent exploits found on IE6, which caused the China-Hackers-Attack on Google, the last week.
Don’t take any chances! Download the NoMoreIE6 plugin and warn your users they should upgrade to a decent browser.
Get rid of all the nonsense tweaks to get your browser looking good on IE6 for good.
